Privacy Policy

Information collected

JukeBoxMusic processes Firebase account identifiers, Google account details supplied through sign-in, display names, party and queue activity, browser installation identifiers, entitlement and payment references, and technical security information. PayPal handles payment credentials; JukeBoxMusic does not receive or store card or bank details.

How information is used

Information is used to operate shared parties, enforce permissions and limits, provide paid benefits, process and reconcile payments, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, and meet legal obligations.

Service providers and overseas processing

Firebase and Google provide authentication, hosting, database and security services. PayPal processes payments. YouTube supplies embedded playback. These providers may process information outside Australia under their own privacy terms.

Storage and retention

The app stores an installation identifier, preferences and the active party in browser storage. Parties normally expire after seven days; paid hosts receive a further seven-day playlist export window before party data is deleted. Account, payment and security records may be retained while needed for memberships, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes and legal obligations.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by emailing budfluxjukeboxmusic@gmail.com. Some payment or transaction records may need to be retained where required by law.

Terms of Use

JukeBoxMusic provides a shared queue for official embedded YouTube playback. It is independent from YouTube, Google and PayPal. YouTube controls video availability, advertising and playback behaviour.

Using the service

Hosts are responsible for their parties and invited participants. Users must not misuse the service, evade limits, interfere with other parties, submit unlawful material, or attempt unauthorised access. Playback may be interrupted by device restrictions, networks, advertisements, regional availability or third-party services.

Paid services

Prices are in Australian dollars. An event pass provides eligible benefits for seven days. Annual memberships renew through PayPal until cancelled; founder pricing is retained only while continuously subscribed. Lifetime Founder membership is a one-time benefit limited to 500 verified or reserved purchases. Current inclusions and prices are shown before checkout.

Subscriptions can be cancelled through PayPal. Cancellation stops future renewal and existing benefits continue until the verified paid-through date unless a payment is refunded, reversed or disputed.

Availability and liability

The service may change or be unavailable temporarily. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the remedies required by law.

Access may be suspended where necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or respond to refunded, reversed or disputed payments.

Refund Policy

JukeBoxMusic provides refunds and other remedies where required by the Australian Consumer Law, including where a service has a major failure or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee. This policy does not limit statutory rights.

Refunds are not normally provided for change of mind, accidental purchases, unused time, device incompatibility disclosed before purchase, or third-party YouTube content becoming unavailable, except where required by law.

To request a remedy, email budfluxjukeboxmusic@gmail.com with the PayPal transaction ID, purchase date, and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.

A refund, reversal or payment dispute suspends the associated paid entitlement. Existing queued songs are not deleted and playback is not interrupted, but free limits and controls apply. Cancelling an annual subscription through PayPal prevents future renewals and is separate from requesting a refund.
